About the Event
Washington, DC has one of the most extensive local networks of LGBTQ+ sports teams and leagues in the world. Under the umbrella of Team DC, each of these leagues — their athletes, administrators, and volunteers numbering over 7,000 — are working together to create a multi-day Sports Festival for WorldPride DC 2025.
District Wrestling is proud to sponsor a multi-day freestyle wrestling and grappling event for LGBTQ and ally wrestlers from around the world at the Capital Cup. This will be a USA Wrestling-sanctioned event — all wrestlers will be required to have an active USA Wrestling membership to compete.

Pinfall passes include entry into the freestyle tournament and all clinics, a participant t-shirt, and entry to any District Wrestling social events (details TBD). PLEASE NOTE: All Grapple in the Capital tickets also require a Capital Cup ticket, which is sold separately.
