Our Practices
We have three goals for our practices: work up a sweat; step off the mat better than when you stepped on; and most importantly, have fun while doing it.

If this is your first time to our practice — or to any wrestling practice — here's what you can expect.

Cost
Practices are $20 per week, payable via cash, Venmo or PayPal on site.
Your first practice is always free to try!
What to Wear
All wrestlers must wear gym-appropriate clothing like t-shirts and shorts; or a singlet or rash guard. Wrestling shoes are also strongly encouraged.

Warm Ups & Stretches
The first 10-15 minutes of every practice are devoted to getting you and your body ready for wrestling. Think dynamic stretching and getting your heart rate up.
Skills & Technique
The bulk of practice will focus on teaching and drilling moves. We will try to showcase one takedown, one turn, and one pinning combo each week.
Drills
Once we're ready to wrestle, we'll start with some basic drills like hand fighting, footwork, or shooting in on an opponent.
Live Wrestling
We will close every practice with an opportunity to put those new skills to use during live wrestling. It's up to you whether you want to participate, and how intense you wish to go.
Security & Facilities
L'Enfant Plaza is publicly accesible during practice hours. The mat room is located next to the food court area in the L'Enfant Plaza concourse.
Music & Social Media
Good vibes require good music, so we crank it up whenever possible. We also take photos and videos on occasion for use on our social channels. Don't want to be on camera? Just let one of us know!
Getting There
The facility is Metro accessible via the Green/Yellow and Blue/Orange/Silver lines. There is also limited street parking nearby.
