Asics unveils new Aggressor 6s — in some interesting color ways

Asics has been a leader in the wrestling shoe game for some time now, and along with Adidas are usually considered the old guard in the wrestling apparel and equipment space. It's a well-earned reputation thanks in part to their reliable entry-level shoes, but they've also coupled those with a few pairs of beloved, high-performance pairs as well, the Aggressors among them.

For 2025, Asics just unveiled their new Aggressor 6s in three colorways: a fairly safe black/grey/white; white uppers with black soles and some subtle gold trim, and their biggest swing: a teal/lime green design pictured above.

I own a pair of Aggressor 5s which I love, and folks do tend to get good mileage from theirs. At $150 these are an investment shoe, but Asics is as reliable as they come, and if the design speaks to you, it could be worth it. Or, if you want to save some dough, look for good deals on the now-outdated Aggressor 5s at sporting goods stores or on Asics' website.

Pro-Tip: if none of the new colorways tickle your fancy, wait a few months — Asics tends to refresh their models with additional colors after initial launch.
