They've been unavailable ever since Snyder's arrest
Kyle Snyder is arguably Rudis' biggest athlete (and inarguably one of their longest tenured), so when news broke of his arrest on charges of prostitution, Rudis found itself in a pickle. Within hours, Snyder's name and face had been scrubbed from their website, and his wide range of KS shoes were unceremoniously pulled from their store.
But it seems any reputational concerns have abated. Rudis posted an ad on social media this week featuring Snyder that vaguely referenced his unfortunate episode, and followed that up by returning his whole line of shoes to the store — at full price, naturally.
For what it's worth, the official position of DWC is that sex work should not be illegal, provided it's consensual. Snyder's hypocrisy on the other hand — he's unapologetic about his religious convictions, and last I checked the Bible has a thing or two to say about adultery — is another matter. Here's hoping his pursuit of forgiveness goes hand in hand with a greater appreciation and understanding of others who also fall outside the traditionally narrow boundaries of Biblical rightousness.
